The Amman Athletics Conference (AAC) was established in 2009 with a mission to provide regular quality athletic competition in a  well-structured environment for the full-time, registered students of the AAC member schools in Amman,  Jordan.

The AAC member schools include:

• Amman Academy (AA) - 2009 

• Amman Baccalaureate School (ABS) - 2009

• American Community School (ACS) - 2009

• International Academy Amman (IAA) - 2009

• Kings Academy (KA) - 2009 

• International Community School (ICS) – 2011

• Baptist School of Amman (BSA) – 2011

• Modern American School (MAS)- 2012

• New English School (NES)- 2012

• Mashrek International School (MIS) – 2013

There are two seasons of play in the school year:

• Season 1: Football, Volleyball, and Cross Country (September to December) 

• Season 2: Basketball, and Track & Field (January to May) 

Each school may enter teams in each of the following age categories: 

(Based on age as of Sept 1st of the current school year)

• U18 (Students registered with the school, can be over 18)

• U16 (Under 16 years old as of Sept. 1st of the school year)

• U14 (Under 14 years old as of Sept. 1st of the school year)

• U12 (Under 12 years old as of Sept. 1st of the school year)

• ES (Grades 4-5 students)
