After-school activities (AEPs) are an exciting part of student life at ACS. Whether your child loves music, robotics, painting, basketball, or community service, there’s something for everyone.
Most ASAs are led by our teachers and staff, ensuring a consistent and caring environment that reflects our school’s values. Each session runs for several weeks, and we encourage students to try something new every term!

Opening Date & Time: Thursday, August 21, 2025, at 12:00 PM
Closing Date & Time: Sunday, August 31, 2025, at 9:00 AM

We view After-School Exploration Program (AEP) as an avenue for students to connect with teachers differently. Students can build friendships with peers and explore new interests they may not always encounter. While we do have some outside providers, most activities are offered primarily by our staff and they range from active games, quiet spaces, clubs, and tinkering to leisure activities.
ASAs generally meet once per week on an 8-week cycle
Elementary School (ES): 3:00 PM - 4:00 PM
Middle School (MS): 3:15 PM - 4:30 PM
High School (HS): 3:15 PM - 4:30 PM
AEPs run Sunday-Thursday, however, please note that there are limited offerings on Sundays as Sundays are sheltered for staff professional development after school. AEPs are not offered for KG students in the first semester as they are transitioning to full days.

Tryout date: Wednesday, August 27, from 3:10–4:30 PM
Location: Room 415 (4th floor, Middle School – Ms. de la O’s room)
Application deadline: Sunday, August 24 - 10 AM
Final team roster announced: September 1
Estimated cost of the culminating trip to BERMUN: $2,200 USD
In February, the MUN club will attend another conference hosted by King's Academy. Students who do not participate in BERMUN but are still eager for an MUN opportunity will be welcome to apply for that event, no prior MUN experience will be required in order to participate.

Scorpion Council is Back!!!!
Be part of a team of students that help create the student life here at ACS. Scorpion Council is responsible for leading the monthly assemblies, organizing the middle school socials throughout the year, and identifying spirit week themes.
We'd love to have you join and utilize your strengths. There are opportunities for anyone to be up in front of the middle school or working behind the scenes. Don't miss out!
Please complete this application form by Sunday, August 24th at 3:00pm. Along with completing the form, there is a speech that you'll need to prepare and present during our first meeting on Monday, August 25th during lunch in room 418 (Mr. Chip's room). Information is in the form and the poster.

Team Captains: Chosen by coaches based on leadership and team responsibility.
Event Leadership: Opportunities through MUN, Compassion Summit, Drama, Robotics, and other major events.
